According to 36kr.com, regarding the news on the spin-off of Baidu Apollo, Li Zhenyu, vice president of Baidu Group and general manager of the intelligent driving business group, said that Baidu unmanned vehicles will not be spun off, and there are no plans for obtaining external financings.


He said that Baidu Apollo did not make money for 7 years, and will not see whether it can make money in the short term in the future.


Apollo will still keep investment based on the platform of its parent Baidu.


In addition, although it is impossible to disclose the specific investment amount of Baidu Apollo, he said, "We will definitely invest more than them (Didi)."
