Beijing AMR Terminates Anti-Monopoly Investigation against Lenovo

The investigation in the alleged monopoly behavior of Beijing Development and Reform Commission launched an investigation against Lenovo (Beijing) Co., Ltd. (Lenovo) was kicked off in July 2018.


After the Institutional Reform, the case has been continually investigated by Beijing Municipal Administration for Market Regulation (Beijing AMR), which issued a Decision to Suspend the Investigation on 16 September 2019.


Now Beijing AMR decided to terminate the investigation on this case on 3 March 2020 subject to Lenovo’s commitments.
