The revised regulations on the management of living waste of Beijing have been in implementation for over three months. To carry out waste sorting, many communities in Beijing have introduced third-party companies, for these third-party companies can provide a set of more standardized methods.
Every day, the third-party companies dispatch waste sorting instructors on duty to guide the residents to sort and throw the garbage, as well as to provide services of collecting recyclable or bulky waste.
In the Dongcheng District, the communities of Donghuashi Street and Tiantan Street cooperate with the waste sorting company Lumao. The residential communities of Shuangjing Street in Chaoyang District, Tianqiao Street in Xicheng District, Huitian District and other places all adopt the new intelligent recycling cabinets and other new modes for waste sorting.
Most of these third-party companies have many years of experience. Their participation provides the community with a more standardized and professional management method, helping improve the level of management and develop residents' waste sorting habits.
In the next step, the Beijing Municipal Commission of Urban Management, the Beijing Municipal Finance Bureau, the Beijing Municipal Commission of Development and Reform, and other bureaus will introduce more incentive policies to attract social capital to participate in waste sorting, exploring a more scientific and diverse management pattern to sort waste.
