China's revised budget law implementation regulations will come into effect on October 1

Premier Li Keqiang signed the State Council Decree a few days ago to announce the revised Regulations for the Implementation of the Budget Law of the People's Republic of China, which will come into force on October 1, 2020.


There are 8 chapters and 97 articles in the regulations.


The main contents include: firstly, clarify the scope of budget revenue and expenditure; secondly, strengthen budget disclosure requirements; thirdly improve the transfer payment system; fourthly clarify the preparation time of budget drafts; fifthly strengthen local government debt management; last, standardize financial accounts.
