On July 27, SmartX, a Chinese hyper-converged infrastructure company has successively closed its Series B+ round and Series C round, raising 200 million yuan in total.
Vertex Ventures led the Series B+ round, while the existing investor Matrix Partners China also participated.
Tianjin Venture Capital and Hua Capital co-led the company’s Series C round with existing investor F&G Venture participating.
The proceeds will be used primarily to build a new generation of distributed computing and storage engines for the enterprise cloud, as well as to expand innovative application scenarios such as container and edge computing.
Founded in 2013, SmartX is a new generation IT infrastructure product and solution provider focusing on hyper-converged architecture. With self-developed distributed block storage solutions, the company can provide reliable, high-performance, simple, flexible and agile storage and computing resource pools for enterprise clouds.
SmartX's revenue growth has consistently exceeded 100% in recent years. In the first two quarters of this year, SmartX's revenue grew more than 60% year-over-year.
