SMIC has reached a monthly production capacity of 6,000 14-nanometer wafers, and its goal is to achieve a monthly production capacity of 35,000 14-nanometer wafers and below.
Public information shows that SMIC is headquartered in Shanghai and has a global manufacturing and service base.
It has one 300mm fab and one 200mm fab in Shanghai, as well as a 300mm advanced process fab.
